You must be 18 years of age, or older, to purchase a knife or knives from us.  It is the responsibility of
YOU, the buyer, and not Trout Creek Knives, the seller, to ascertain and obey all applicable
local, state, federal, and international laws regarding the possession and use of any item we sell.

By placing an order, the buyers represent that the product(s) ordered will be used in a lawful manner,
and that they are of legal age.  Trout Creek Knives will not be held liable for the misuse of
any product represented and sold on this website.  Also, because no product is 100% effective against attack,
Trout Creek Knives assumes no responsibility for a product purchased from this site
that is not effective in preventing bodily injury, dismemberment, or death.
By entering this site, the buyer represents he/she has read and understands the above information.

We stand behind and fully guarantee our workmanship and materials for situations within our control. 
Any problems caused by climate changes, misuse, and/or not taking reasonable care
of our products are excluded.  If products are to be returned to us for repair or replacement,
prior correspondence between the customer and Trout Creek Knives regarding the claim is mandatory.
We will use our professional discretion regarding the validity of the claim,
and all valid claims will be processed within a reasonable time frame.  All invalid claims,
and/or claims not previously discussed with Trout Creek Knives will be returned untouched. 
 

All payments for on-line purchases of Trout Creek Knives will be routed through PayPal.
We will mail the customer a receipt for the purchase of their knife/knives if they request that we do so.
Please indicate “Please Send Receipt” in the "Comments" box at check-out.

We will be shipping all on-line knife purchases by USPS.  The cost of shipping our knives will be
incorporated into the cost of the knife and sheath.  At the present time,
the cost to mail a package up to 2 pounds, via USPS, is $14.95. This price includes shipping and handling.
Insurance against loss or damage will also be incorporated into the cost of the knife and sheath.
The cost of shipping packages over 2 pounds will vary.
The State of Montana does not have sales tax applicable to purchases. Therefore, no sales tax
will be attached to the purchase/shipping costs regardless of the purchaser's state of residence.
We will carefully wrap and protect our product(s) so that by every effort on our part,
our customers receive their purchases undamaged.
Any customer receiving a damaged package, or not receiving their purchase at all,
will need to take up the recovery of their investment with the US Postal Service.
We will also ship to a third party if the customer requests that we do so.
