Most of our knives are accompanied by sheaths which are crafted, primarily, from 10-ounce cowhide, and are custom-formed and hand-Stamped, then assembled, riveted, glued, sewn, dyed, and waterproofed. Each sheath is conformed to each individual knife while the leather is still wet. When the leather dries, the knife fits tightly into the sheath, and will not fall out.

Custom Sheaths shown below are a representation of the types and styles of sheaths we make for our knives based on the type and style of the knife blade, and bolster or guard.
In some cases the belt loop of the sheath will be an all-in-one, folded-over loop, or a separate piece of leather that is attached by rivets and stitched on the back of the sheath. The type of belt loop will be determined by the knife maker according to the knife specs.

you may send your Personal knives not purchased from trout creek knives, to the knife maker at trout creek knives to have a custom sheath created. Please specify from the choices below what style and color you would like the knife maker to use for your personal custom knife sheath.

When choosing styles and types for your custom sheath, please specify:
1. color - black, mahogany, dark brown or medium brown
2. stitching - rawhide whipped or inline straight stitch
3. adornments - rivets and/or leather stamping
